Build a sound from its parts

Many classic horror sounds are simple synthesis: a sine tone sliding slowly downwards, a square wave wobbling at a few beats per second, a tone fed back through echo until it smears into a drone. This maker exposes those few controls directly, so you can design an alarm from a derelict ship, a theremin-like wail or a low warning pulse.

Every setting is applied with the Web Audio API and rendered offline, so the exported WAV matches exactly what you previewed. Sounds you make here are yours to use in games, films and podcasts.

Questions

What do the waveforms sound like?

Sine is pure and ghostly, triangle softer, square hollow and electronic, and sawtooth harsh and buzzy.

How long can a sound be?

Up to 20 seconds.

Can I use the sounds commercially?

Yes. They are generated by your settings, with no third-party recordings involved.
