Found Footage Screenshot Maker

Make a photo look like a frame from a security camera: REC indicator, timestamp, camera ID, static and harsh contrast.

Runs in your browser. Files you open stay on your device and are never uploaded.

Camera

Choose a photo (or the sample) to turn it into a camera frame.

How to use it

  1. 1. Choose a photo from your device.
  2. 2. Pick a camera style: CCTV, camcorder or body camera.
  3. 3. Set the camera identifier, date and time, and the amount of static.
  4. 4. Download the frame as a PNG.

Evidence-style images

Security footage is unglamorous by design: a fixed wide angle, crushed contrast, a timestamp in the corner and a camera number nobody bothers to name. That plainness is exactly why a shape at the end of a corridor in a CCTV frame is more unnerving than a polished horror still.

This maker converts your photo to the low-saturation, high-contrast look of a surveillance camera, adds sensor noise and faint interlacing, and overlays the details: a blinking-style REC marker, the timestamp, a camera identifier and, in the camcorder style, a battery indicator. Everything is drawn on a canvas on your device.

Questions

Can I set any date and time?

Yes. Both are free text in the format the camera style uses.

What is the difference between the camera styles?

CCTV is monochrome with a camera number; camcorder keeps some colour and adds a battery and REC indicator; body camera adds a fisheye-style vignette and unit number.

Is my photo private?

Yes. Nothing is uploaded; processing happens in your browser.
